Cairns Harbourside Hotel, Cairns

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room, with a view of the sea and pool downstairs, was just what we needed. Great for storing drinks and snacks. The location, although a bit off from markets and restaurants, is lovely and quiet with a nice walk into town. The dining experience was excellent with delicious daily options. However, the dripping noise all night was torturous, which was a downside.

I couldn't wait to get out of my room. It smelled like stale smoke, and the color scheme was not tropical-friendly. On the bright side, the room was spacious, offering a lovely view over the Esplanade and the Inlet.

The hotel rooms are functional and comfortable, spotlessly clean with a wonderful comfy king bed but somewhat shabby and in need of renovations. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing an excellent and accommodating service. The location is good with nice surroundings downstairs for a quiet drink but a bit far from the main CBD area. The dining options were really good with lots of choices but somewhat crowded. The facilities were well-maintained with some areas looking a little dated.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms could use some improvements but offer a great view if facing the water. The service was helpful and friendly, contributing to a comfortable stay. The location was nice but slightly out of the center, providing a quieter atmosphere. The dining was enjoyable, although room for improvement could be considered.
